Callum passes the PCV driving test the first time around!
Callum Taylor recently passed the PCV test after completing a PCV driver training course with RSM Commercial Driver Training. Having passed the theory test, with 20 hours of one-to-one driver training behind the wheel of the single decker bus the 21 year old from Benfleet in Essex passed the PCV test the first time.
Naturally, Callum was very pleased to pass the PCV test and he can be seen pictured proudly holding his pass certificate in front of the RSM single deck bus. He said:
Passed my PCV first Time! My instructor was absolutely brilliant and all the staff were very good and friendly. Thanks guys!

For Callum, a backstage Theatre Technician at the Cliffs Pavillion, the reason for wanting to learn to drive and pass the PCV test was his genuine interest in classic buses, coaches, lorries and cars – which stems back from when he was a child. He told us “At the age of 8 my mum hired an ex-Southend transport 1966 bus for my birthday. Ever since then I’ve been hooked. That year I joined the Castle Point Transport Museum on Canvey Island and have been there ever since restoring the vehicles. I am currently Vice Chairman and have my own collection of vehicles; a classic 1966 Eastern National coach and a 1958 Suffolk Commer fire engine.”
A keen enthusiast it would certainly seem, Callum has provided a couple of pictures of his collection:
Everyone at RSM Commercial Driving Training would like to wish Callum the very best in driving his wonderful collection and in now getting greater enjoyment in his passion for classic vehicles by being able to get behind the wheel of many other vehicles on the open road! – Happy motoring Callum!!
